Growing up, Laura traveled the world as part of an embassy family, but today she’s settled in beautiful Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently the Children’s Librarian at an urban library branch, where she works with children and teens of all ages and serves on the Young Adult selection team for the Boston Public Library. When she’s not reading every single children’s literature blog on the internet, Laura enjoys baking, contra dancing, traveling, watching Cardinals baseball, and playing the banjo very poorly.
Laura also contributes to The Well-Read Child and The Bookish Type.

Publisher’s Info
I review primarily young adult fiction on Bib-Laura-Graphy, but will also review middle grade titles and narrative nonfiction. I am strongly interested in sports fiction (especially baseball), adventure stories, fiction featuring characters of color, fantasy, and re-tellings of fairy tales or classics. I do not review every book I read, and so I cannot guarantee a review of every book received. I review every title honestly, but I will not post wholly negative reviews. I prefer to follow the advice of wise grandmas everywhere: if I have nothing good to say, I will say nothing at all.
